So after waiting 30 minuites for MF Doom to show up on the second stage and completely missing Mos Def on the main stage, I bounced. I was not going to miss Nas and it really did not look like Doom was going to show up. For thirty minutes the only people on stage was a DJ and some stage techs walking around on stage but no one came on the mic to say Doom was running late or that he was not going to perform.

A mixtape played over the speakers and every time the music volume lowered the crowd would yell “DOOM” or “BOO”. Well apparently sometime after I left Doom (?) showed up. See below.

After viewing the video I consulted with a forensic Doom expert who gave me the following information.

Two things that distiguish DOOM from FOOM every time:

• Doom always rocks while drinking MAD Heinekens. when i say mad Heinekens… please understand that as soon as one leaves his hand he opens another one.

• He has NO neck and walks like his thighs are stuck together.

The expert also added, “I could tell that wasn’t him as soon as he walked out like a normal person with no Heineken in his hand“.
