W By Oliver Stone - A response

After reading the interesting and funny review of W over at Misanthropy Today, I decided to respond to the review and then it turned in to a novella.
From Misanthropy Today:
Movie Review: W By Oliver Stone
“W.” by Oliver Stone is a great movie about a mediocre man; or a mediocre movie about a great […]

New Terminator Salvation poster

Dolemite is back!

The baddest MF in history is back. Oddly enough I am not talking about Shaft. Dolemite is back after a lengthy absence with a new movie, The Dolemite Explosion. The movie has been in the works since 2000 and has been shown a couple of times in late 2007.

Red Band “Superbad” trailer

Superbad is funny as hell

It took me about 20 minutes to get in to the film but once I did, I was laughing my ass off. It’s more R rated comedy from the Apatow/Rogen/Hill/Goldberg/Etc camp and it is really funny. Think “American Pie”, but not overly corny or sentimental and for you older folks, think “Porky’s” only funny.

Expect tons […]
