Tina talks about her vices (cupcakes), her big old butt and why strip clubs need to die.

In October, it seemed that Tina Fey was the campaign, with journalists writing that she had “swift-butted” Palin and derailed her future. Two weeks before the election, Fey’s Palin and Palin’s Palin met cute: the two women walked past each other wordlessly in S.N.L.’s opening sketch. As cast member Casey Wilson, standing next to a giggling Secret Service agent backstage, looked at Palin on a monitor raising the roof to Amy Poehler’s racy Wasilla rap, she blurted out, “Oh, my God!” Watching a parade consisting of Mark Wahlberg, a donkey, Palin, and her Secret Service agents, a visiting screenwriter observed, “This is like a Fellini movie.”

I heard it existed, a tape full of dope St. Ides commercials but I never saw it. Apparently the tape was real and there is a tape featuring some of the classic Hip-Hop commercials for the nasty ass malt liquor. What’s is on this tape is primarily the post King Tee/Ice Cube tracks from Snoop, Warren G, Wu-Tang Clan (Meth, Rae, Ghost, U Gods, RZA), Scarface, MC Eiht and others.

New Clipse mixtape, Road To ‘Til’ The Casket Drops

VA’s finest, The Clipse have a new clothing line Play Cloths that hits stores on November 21. But more importantly they are dropping a new mixtape with the help of Complex magazine who will be exclusively debuting the new mixtape Road To ‘Til’ The Casket Drops on December 1st.

Their full length Columbia album should be in stores by March 2009.

California: The hate group capital of the US?

Of all the states in the union, who would have thought that traditionally blue, allegedly liberal, California would have more hate groups than anywhere else in the country.

According to the Southern Poverty Law Center’s Hate Groups Map, California leads the United States in existence of hate groups, with 80 different groups. Most of the groups are either skinhead or neo nazi, but there were also seven different klan groups.

Also included in the list were several different (LA, SD & Oakland) chapters of the Nation of Islam and the Jewish Defense League.

Part I: Officially Dead: Acting White

Lets hope this "acting white" bs will finally die a slow death. In addition to "Acting White", the following terms should also be taken out back and shot; "Not black enough", "Oreo", "Not keeping it real", etc…

These type of low self esteem based comments only serve to socially confine people and stigmatize intellectual progress.

Take a look at John McWhorter’s article on "How Barack Obama’s Election Can Change the Myth of Acting White".

By they way, guess which magazine got the first post election interview with President Elect Barack Obama (not going to get tired of saying that folks), Ebony. Yes Ebony, the bible of barbershops and Black America.
